Cow

Strongly associated with the sacred feminine, the cow is a symbol of fertility at its most benign. It was because of the cow’s link to motherhood and fertility that their slaughter became the highest form of sacrilege in India under the worship of the deity Krishna, who grew up among the milkmaids and their cows. Cow’s milk and butter gave Krishna nourishing strength, and in return, they became the sacred cow. (Literally.) Wear the cow to invoke gentle strength and good fortune. Holy cow — that animal body which contains all the gods, and everything good under the sun — especially when cooked to medium rare.
